Polls seems to indicate that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, is surging and has slight leads in key battleground states, like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, while threatening in usual Republican strongholds like Georgia and North Carolina.
With a strong woman’s vote, can she rack up the states she need to get to 270 Electoral votes and defeat former president Donald Trump, the Republican nominee?
Trump has made his opposition to transgender rights central to his closing argument.
Harris appears to be drawing strength from women angered over the stripping of reproductive rights; the fallout of Trump’s hateful rally at Madison Square Garden, where racist comments angered and activated Latinos, Black, Jews, women and others; and Trump’s authoritarian vows to lock up his political enemies — or possibly shoot them, in Liz Cheney’s case.
All of these issues are driving many late-deciding voters away, according to pollsters.
But, it’s still a close race. Who do you think will win? Tell us below.
Of course, this is not a scientific poll and has no bearing on the actual results.
